Clay Stuckey Claims MSCCS Victory at Hattiesburg; Eyes MLRA Tripleheader
Louisiana Racer Collects $2,500 for First Tour Triumph
SHREVEPORT, La. (April 14, 2026) — Clay Stuckey picked up his first win of the 2026 season over the weekend, driving the Lucas Oil / Advanced Powder Coating / FiberTec Laser Cutting No. 15 Longhorn Chassis Late Model to victory in the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) opener at Hattiesburg Speedway.
Taking control just before the halfway point, Stuckey led the final 18 laps in Friday’s event to secure the $2,500 payday and his first career series triumph.
“Hats off to my team,” Stuckey said in victory lane. “We struggled a little bit last weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway, so it’s nice to turn things around. We were a little off in qualifying, but the guys got us dialed in for the feature. Hopefully we can carry this momentum into the next few weeks—we’ve got a busy stretch coming up.”
Stuckey’s Mississippi swing began Friday at Hattiesburg Speedway. After qualifying third-fastest, he overtook Chase Holland on lap 13 and pulled away to claim the 20-lap victory. He crossed the line 1.757 seconds ahead of Holland, with Bo Slay completing the podium.
He wrapped up the weekend with a sixth-place finish in Saturday’s $3,000-to-win MSCCS finale at Whynot Motorsports Park.

Stuckey now turns his attention to a busy weekend with the Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA). The tripleheader begins Friday at Callaway Raceway in Missouri, continues Saturday at Farmington Empire Speedway, and concludes Sunday at Quincy Raceway in Illinois.
