Clay Stuckey earns $3,000 in Jambalaya 100 opener at Pike County Speedway
Clay Stuckey made a late-season trip to Pike County Speedway (Magnolia, Miss.) over the weekend to compete in the Jambalaya 100 and joined a 21-car field on night one.
Stuckey set fast time and picked up a heat race win which put him on the pole for the 40-lap feature event. Leading flag-to-flag, Clay dominated the feature for the $3,000 victory over Spencer Hughes and Eli Ross.
With $7,000 on the line in Saturday's finale, Stuckey once again started from the pole and led the majority of the 60-lap feature. Clay slipped out of the rubber groove late in the feature and Spencer Hughes was able to sneak around for the win. Stuckey settled for runner-up.
