An Update on Jarrett Stuckey

Jarrett's mom Terri Stuckey provided an update on Jarrett yesterday evening:

"Heart failure team put an internal heart monitor on Jarret today.

Issues still with the left side. They are trying all they can before a complete transplant. Not just the heart. They let me know today it will have to be a heart and kidney transplant if it comes to that. Also starting new meds for his Wegener's to try to get on top of it around his heart. He is still on the EGMO (pumping for his heart) machine. They will try to start decreasing the machine to see what his heart can withstand.

There are about four options they are looking at before the transplant. But in a normal condition (heart failure) you may have some time to wait. In Jarret’s case we do not have that luxury. We are on a very short time frame. Please keep praying. He is getting some what depressed so we are trying to keep it very light and upbeat in his room.

If you have his cell please keep texting him. He is for sure looking at them. He may not answer but he is reading them."
