Clay Stuckey grabs Late Model win at Central Arizona Raceway
Clay Stuckey extended his trip out West with a visit to Central Arizona Raceway (Casa Grande, Ariz.) for the Ernie Mincy Early Thaw over the weekend.
Kicking things off on Thursday evening, Stuckey was among a strong 28-car field at the facility as he drove to a fourth-place finish in the weekend opener.
On Friday, Clay stormed from fourth-to-first in his heat race which planted him on the pole for the evening's feature. Stuckey led flag-to-flag in the 25-lap feature and took home the $2,500 payday over Don Shaw and Zach Johnson.
For the weekend finale, Clay started from the front-row and ran runner-up to Zach Johnson in the $3,000-to-win showdown.
