Stuckey's follow Comp Cams Series; Clayton seventh at Davenport with MARS
Making a special Tuesday night appearance, Clayton Stuckey unloaded his Lucas Oil No. 15 at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the Hoker 50 with the MARS Championship Series.
Following a seventh-place run in his heat race, Stuckey stormed through the field and gained 12 positions en route to a strong Top-10 outing in seventh.
Joining his brother Jarret on Friday evening with the Comp Cam Super Dirt Series, both drivers invaded Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) for the first night of a doubleheader weekend.
Transferring to the main event through their heat race, Clayton recorded an 11th-place finish while Jarret snuck into the Top-10 with a ninth-place run.
For Saturday's portion of the weekend doubleheader, Clayton and Jarret completed their heat race before a rain shower hit the track that forced officials to postpone the Hillbilly 40 event to August 17.
