Alberson visits Ponderosa and Florence

With Mother Nature derailing his weekend plans with the Lucas Oil MLRA, Garrett Alberson and the Roberts Motorsports team visited Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday afternoon for the event co-sanctioned by the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series and Iron-Man Northern Series. For the Spring 50 at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Saturday, Garrett’s fifth-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the ninth row for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Pulling off early in the 50-lap affair, Alberson retired on lap 38.
