15th place finish in Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic Speedway

Saturday night saw Earl Pearson Jr. return with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Indiana Icebreaker. In a field of 44 cars, Pearson Jr. secured his spot into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a third place finish in his heat. The following night at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the Buckeye Spring 50, Earl timed in second fastest in his qualifying group behind Devin Moran before picking up an eight-lap heat race victory. Earning the fourth-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Pearson Jr. challenged for a Top-5 finish early in the feature but faded back late in the 50-lapper to place 15th.

Earl has climbed to 14th in the latest Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point standings.
